Emma Hreljanovic is a dancer, choreographer, and film artist from Mount Vernon, NY. In May 2015, she graduated from Bard College with a BA in Dance. She currently lives in Seattle, WA training in tai chi and kung-fu with Seattle Sil Lum, dancing with Michele Miller/ Catapult Company, and performing her improvisational work at locations such as Velocity Dance Center, Studio Seven, and local Open Mics
(Most recently at the Stone Way Cafe in Fremont and at Velocity's SH*T GOLD event in Capitol Hill.)
Emma began taking dance at age three in Eastchester, NY. At Bard College, she had the opportunity to perform works by Zvi Gotheiner, Bill T. Jones, and Beth Gill. Her dance education includes contact improvisation with Amii LeGendre and studying with Bard's New York Live Arts Partnership. Since arriving in Seattle, she has performed works by Michele Miller, Stephanie Liapis, Corie Befort, Liv Fauver, and Sam Picart.
